Return and Refund Policy

At The Velvet Rose Bookshop, we carefully curate every item with love, intention, and attention to quality. As a small, independently owned business, our return and refund policies help us continue offering unique books, gifts, and experiences to our community.

    Books & Retail Items

    All book sales are final.

    We do not offer refunds or exchanges on books, including but not limited to:

    • New books
    • Signed Copies
    • Special Editions
    • Pre-orders

    Non-book retail items (such as gifts, or accessories) may be eligible for store credit only within 7 days of purchase, provided the item is:

    • Unused
    • In original condition and packaging
    • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase

    Event & Ticket Policy

    All tickets for events, author signings, book clubs, workshops, and special gatherings are non-refundable.

    Tickets may be transferable unless otherwise stated in the event description.

    If an event is canceled by The Velvet Rose Bookshop, attendees will be offered:

    • Store credit, or
    • Transfer to another event or a rescheduled event date (when applicable)

    Missed events, no-shows, or scheduling conflicts do no qualify for refunds.

    Damaged or Incorrect Items

    If you receive an item that is damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of purchase or delivery at thevelvetrosebookshop@yahoo.com. We will review the issue and work with you to resolve as quickly as possible.

    The Velvet Rose Bookshop is a small business. Every purchase directly supports our ability to :

    • Support local creators and vendors
    • Keep our doors open
