Two exes. One house. Zero chill.

Olivia had a plan: MBA, Wall Street VP by thirty-two, marriage, two kids (twins preferred — because efficiency). What she did not plan for was losing half her belongings in an apartment flood and having absolutely nowhere to turn except her ex.

Moving in with Sammy was supposed to be temporary. Practical. Completely unemotional.

Then he started baking her cupcakes. And walking around shirtless. And looking at her like that.

Sammy has enough going on — a bakery to run, a family that meddles relentlessly, and a heart that never quite got over the woman who broke it. He should not have said yes. But he did. And now she's in his house, in his space, and dangerously close to getting back under his skin.

He could use this as a chance to make her regret leaving. He could absolutely not kiss her senseless in the middle of the night.

As old walls come down and long-buried truths surface, Sammy and Olivia start to wonder if their past is really what they thought it was — and whether their future might be worth the risk of getting it wrong again.
